three ways to style a black jumpsuit

Hello lovelies! It's Meghan again from eat.live.make. I'm excited to be sharing a new item I scored from Thred UP! last month from White House + Black Market. I've been eyeing black jumpsuits for several months, and knew it would be a great staple to my wardrobe. There are so many things you can do with them! Today I'm sharing 3 different ways to style these fun jumpsuits.
This particular suit comes with a built in rayon type belt in black. I really didn't like how it doesn't really break up the suit, so I added a thick leather belt (a thrift store score) to mine and added some brown wedges to complement the look.
The cool thing about these jumpsuits is that you can layer all kinds of looks on top of them. From super dressy, to dressed down. I added a scarf and cardigan from H & M on top of mine for s subtle fall look.
Speaking of dressing down, who says you can't put flannel on top of a nice jumpsuit? I just tied my piece of flannel (another great deal from Thred UP! ) and had that act as a "belt" for this look. Here's the deal about Thred UP! , if you guys haven't checked them out yet, you are missing out! This jumpsuit was only $8.00 and the flannel shirt was only $3.00. It's an online consignment shop where you can find GREAT used clothing with great labels for a fraction of the cost of what you'd pay new… really, it's a fraction of what you'd pay at most consignment stores and thrift stores. So if your looking for a way to revamp your wardrobe this holiday season, or looking to score some great gifts for everyone on your list (including kids!) you should head over to Thred Up! asap!

  1. Ohh, I love how it looks...but I'm not brave enough to buy one! I'm only 5"4 and don't feel like I'm tall enough!!
