Hey Wanderer Website About 3

the HEY WANDERER MANIFESTO

Hey Wanderer is a call to those who are dreamers, thinkers, adventurers and believers. It’s a call to be better. We are all wanderers. We are all looking for something off the beaten path that will quench our thirst for knowledge, for being ahead, for being the best, and for living out dreams. Hey Wanderer is asking you not to settle, not to compromise, and to accept the struggle.

Behind Hey Wanderer, you can rest assured that you will find honesty, transparency and mistakes. We hope to inspire you to create, to dream, to lead, to follow, to think, to act and to embrace your path.

The truth is, we all fall on our faces, not finding what we are seeking because we are trapped by our choices to do what is easy, instead of what is right. But what is right is simple. What is right is gratifying. What is right can change the world. So, let’s the change the world together!

    1. Well thank you, Mackenzie. We're pretty new ourselves and only started this blog in December. We pin a lot of our stuff on Pinterest and put all of our DIYs on Craftgawker. Both of those have brought a lot of traffic to our blog. We also started out commenting on blogs that are similar to ours but have a lot of followers. However, I think having a well-designed blog is crucial. Thankfully, Savannah is a Photoshop wiz and knows how to all the graphic design work. When you use a generic template, your blog just looks like a million other blogs. Also, quality pictures are important. Basically, you want your blog to look professional. I know that seems somewhat overwhelming but there are a lot of people that can hire online that help you design your blog and it's not that expensive (if it's a Blogger account. Word Press is MUCH more expensive). Look at blogs that you like and that have a lot of followers to get inspiration too. Hope that helps!

  11. Hey. I just found this blog and think it is really great. Recently a "friend" (we met on Pinterest ironically enough) and I just started on a joint blogging adventure. She lives on the East Coast and I live in the Midwest (or No Coast). I think you two do a wonderful job of having a completely cohesive blog even though you are totally two different people. So I just wanted to say keep it up. You are adorable and I might just link to y'all (I am allowed to say that as I grew up in Florida and Arkansas).

    :) cheers

  15. Hi!
    I love your blog!
My question is directed at Casey. I am a sophomore in college and a pre-nursing major, minoring in public health. I am really back and forth on this, because this will be something I will be doing for the rest of my life. What kind of nurse do you want to be?

    1. Email me at ohsoprettytheemail@gmail.com to discuss this further. In short, I'm not really sure myself. I will graduate in December and I'm just taking the approach that I will apply to jobs that interest me and see what happens. The great thing about nursing is you don't have to be stuck in one field. So unless your nursing program is different than mine, you don't have to commit to a specific field in nursing before you graduate. If you want to get your masters, you will.

  18. I feel a little out of place, as I am a grandmother. But I have a grand-daughter who will think I'm a really "cool" grandma when I suggest your blog to her. Hannah is 17, graduates in the Spring and has no idea what she wants to do after graduation. Perhaps you will be an inspiration to her, especially since she loves the Lord as I do. That's what sold me. Your blog is cool but you both come across as well grounded, even if you do have pink hair. LOL
