The Best White Chocolate Fudge

When you go on vacation, do you like to make any of your meals or do you just eat at restaurants? On our recent trip to Gatlinburg we mixed it up a bit. A mountain getaway definitely calls for hanging at your cabin for a while. We were in charge of making dessert and I had wanted to try out an eggnog fudge recipe so I decided to do it for the trip. And I know you're thinking... I thought this was a post for a white chocolate fudge recipe. You're right. One of the people with us didn't like eggnog, so I had to alter the plans a little. I will try that recipe one day, and you should too!
Anyway, let's get you to the recipe!
White Chocolate Fudge

- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 package of white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract

1. Line a dish with wax paper. I used 2 loaf pans, but feel free to use whatever you have.
2. Combine sugar, milk and butter in a pot over medium-high heat. Bring ingredient to a boil and stir constantly for 5 minutes.
3. Remove pot from the heat and stir in vanilla, baking chips and marshmallow creme until it's all melted.
4. Pour mixture into your pan and put into refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
5. Store at room temperature for up to a week!

Now if you don't have a mountain vacation planned, this will work great for anything. You could add some crushed peppermints to holiday it up a little. Hmm.. why didn't I do that? Next time!
