eterno blogger event at mcgavock manor

This past weekend we held a blogger event in our backyard to preview the new collection, Eterno. We had a really great time getting to know these lovely Nashville bloggers. We ate, drank, played with the dogs, talked about the new collection and all things creative. You should definitely check out all these lovely bloggers- Alyssa, Hunter, Augusta and Ashley.
We served a light menu of cherry glazed ham, baked butternut squash and cranberries, salted caramel macarons and a plum and rosemary champagne punch.

**TIP- find some really great & fancy looking disposable plates. Clean up will be much easier and you'll usually be able to find something really great. We found these plastic cream colored plated with a gold rim detail for a brunch we held earlier this year and we used the leftovers for this event. And we are going to be buying more of them since we are hosting Thanksgiving. You'll have plenty of dishes to clean from cooking, so disposable plates and utensils really are a game-changer.
This is Hazel, clearly a bad dog who doesn't listen about staying off the table. She's cute though... and a puppy so she's learning.

And for you folks who have heard us talk about the back yard renovations, here is a little glimpse of the results. We promise to do a post with before and after shots! It will probably be in the Spring though whenever we set up the wading pool again.
So glad to be able to share this event with y'all. It was so fun and we are thinking about doing something like this every month. We just really love wetting to know other creatives. :)

Eterno Lookbook

In Spanish, eterno means endless/everlasting. The collection was inspired by different elements of nature that are seemingly endless- the desert, the sea, and the sky. Most importantly the collection is inspired by women who give of themselves endlessly. We designed these clothes for you to feel both beautiful and unrestrained. We believe clothing should simply be a part of and an expression of you.

We hope you love our latest collection as much as we do! You will notice we are now making a total of six kimono styles and five different color ways. With this new collection all kimonos will be made to order. So once you place your order, we will start making your kimono. You can expect your kimono to ship in 2-3 weeks. This allows us to make only what our customers want and prevents waste which keeps our costs down. This is a win-win because if our costs are down, then we don't have to raise kimono prices.

You will notice that we have increased our kimono prices with the new collection. This was a difficult decision to make and one that we did not take lightly. When we looked at our price structure, we realized we did not have pricing at a place that would keep Hey Wanderer in business. Well, that's enough about money. Take a look at our collection and let us know what you think!

As we say goodbye to summer (because it's still in the 80's here), we wanted to take a look back at some photos we never go to show you from summer. Emma is wearing the Santos kimono in bonfire. This color way will come back with our Eterno collection launch, but it will have a different look. The collection launches on October 25th and we are so excited to share it with you! If you aren't apart of our e-mail list, make sure you sign up as we have some great bonuses for those folks. Head to and click 'Get Notified'!
