Ok so what is that you need to up your coffee game at home? The Martinique copper milk frother + warmer by Domestic Corner. This one gadget that costs less than $40 will turn your boring coffee to into the fancy coffee shop lattes that we all love.

Before I knew these existed, I thought you had to buy one of those expensive espresso maker contraptions that take up a ton of counter space + will cause you get a second mortgage because they are so expensive. I also thought you needed an espresso maker but I just use my frother to warm up + froth the creamer I was already going to add to my coffee.

I've been using a milk frother + warmer for years and what I love about The Martinique is that it has a warm + cold froth option. Cold froth would be awesome to add to an iced latte. Also, this milk frother is great even for people who don't like coffee (like Savannah) because you can use it to add froth to tea lattes or even make hot chocolate.

French Toast Latte Recipe

- 1 t of cinnamon

Directions:
1. Brew your coffee.
2. When your coffee is almost done, pour your creamer + milk into frother. Press the top button on the Domestic Corner frother.
3. While your milk is frothing, pour syrup into your coffee cup. Add cinnamon.
4. Pour coffee into the mug and stir.
5. Once the frother is done, pour the milk into coffee mug. Stir.
6. Spoon milk foam on top.
7. You can sprinkle more cinnamon on top.

Enjoy!
So stop drinking boring coffee and home and go get you one of these bad boys! Impress all your friends. But I'm really serious- every time I make lattes with my frother, my friends are legit impressed. Also The Martinique by Domestic Corner frother comes from Amazon and it's copper so it looks beautiful on your counter. Form + function- yes, please!

I'm currently obsessed with blood oranges. I basically eat one every day and also figured out a way to peel oranges in about 30 seconds. Casey loves cocktails and creating new recipes so we knew we needed to involve blood oranges. That's how we came up with this delicious blood orange paloma. It's simple and bright and just what you need to get through the end of this winter season.

The Best Grain Free Hot Cereal Recipe

I love oatmeal. Love it. And many people would tell you oatmeal is healthy BUT it has so many carbs. So many. I have certainly not mastered eating a low carb diet, but I do know that my body operates better when I eat a lower carb diet- specifically carbs that are low on the glycemic index. Today I am sharing with you a lower carb + healthy alternative to many hot cereal breakfast options out there. I found a version of this recipe in a comment section on Facebook and knew I had to try it out. I didn't expect to like this recipe so much, but it has become my go-to breakfast. The consistency is similar to Cream of Wheat. But there's definitely no Wheat in it!
My favorite thing about this recipe is that you can creative with it, just as you would with oatmeal. You could add nuts or fruit. And you can also play around with the proportions. This recipe is very flexible. The most important parts are the chia seeds and the flaxseed meal- that's what makes it cereal like. However, you could use more chia seeds and less flaxseed meal and vice versa. Be free! Play around with it, but please try it and let me know what you think.
Hot Cereal Recipe

Ingredients:
2 Tbs. of flaxseed meal
1 Tbs. of chia seeds
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
2 Tbs. of unsweetened coconut flakes
cinnamon to taste
1 packet of Stevia
3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 Tbs. of no- sugar added peanut butter (optional)

Directions:
I warm up the milk first and then add the dry ingredients. Stir and let it sit for a few minutes until it thickens. Add any extra bits and enjoy!

If you are trying to do a low carb or keto diet this recipe has 6 grams of net carbs + 23 grams of protein. You may want to double check your recipe in case you don't use the exact same ingredients.
If you are really wanting to win at life, you will pre- make a bunch of these packets so you can just grab and run. When I go to work, I bring a packet of this mix and put my milk in a mason jar. Then I just heat up the milk in the mason jar in the microwave and mix.

**Store these pre-made mixes in the fridge. Flaxseed meal and chia seeds should be stored in the fridge after opening.
Well I hope you get to try this recipe out! It has been a life saver for me. If you liked this post and would like to see more recipes, pin the image below!

Color Changing Magic Lemonade!

I've seen color changing drinks floating around the internet and thought it was pretty cool, but not something I would ever spend the time doing. But then I realized that our Eclipse party would be a great time to serve something magical to our guests! So I decided to create a recipe for something very simple, that still had that ooh ahh factor. So here it is- Magic Lemonade.

You might also like:
The concept is simple. Create two different liquids, one purple and one yellow, and pour together when serving. The purple liquid gets it's color from purple cabbage. And I know what you are thinking, cabbage lemonade gross! But you can't taste the cabbage AT ALL. It's weird and crazy, but it's true.
For our eclipse party, I wanted to name the liquids something fitting, so I settled on Moon Beams and Sunshine. The Moon Beams part is basically a purple simple syrup and the Sunshine is lemon water. Mix the two together and you get a very fun ombre situation like the picture above. Stir it up and it's all turns bright pink!
Magic Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:
For the Moon Beams
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 purple cabbage, cut in large slivers
- 1 cup sugar

For the Sunshine
- 1 cup cold water
- The juice of 6 lemons (or around 1 cup)

Directions:
1. Bring the 2 cups of water and cabbage to a boil. Let boil for up to 3 minutes until desired color is reached. 2 minutes is plenty of time and 3 minutes will start to make the water taste like cabbage.
2. Strain the cabbage out of the water. Remember to use a bowl to catch the purple water.
3. Put the purple water back into the pot and add the sugar. Warm until the sugar is dissolved.
4. Juice the lemons and mix with cold water.
5. When ready to serve, let guests pour equal parts of each liquid into their glass over ice, and watch the magic happen!

Let us know if you serve this at your party! And we would love it if you would share this post with your friends because sharing is caring!

DIY Amy's Mexican Casserole Bowl

Casey really loves the Amy's Mexican Casserole Bowl and when I finally had a bite, I really understood why. They are delicious! But, if you want to serve more than one person, the frozen meal would get a little pricey. This dish takes so little time and can be multiplied to feed as many people as you want. It only requires the one pot, and those are our favorite kind of meals.
I made a little video of the process, so check it out! The recipe will also be listed below.

Mexican Casserole Bowl

Ingredients
- 1 tbs. olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 small potates, cut into matchsticks
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 3 corn tortillas, cut into strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups enchilada sauce

Directions
1. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
2. Add onions and peppers and sautee for 5 minutes.
3. Add potatoes and cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Add garlic and cook for a minute.
5. Add black beans, corn, tortillas and enchilada sauce. (I added a touch of chicken broth here because it seemed a little thick. You can use water, or nothing.) Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
6. Serve hot with a dollop of greek yogurt, if desired.

Hope y'all love this as much as we do!

recipe: freezer chocolate

So the other day I was talking with a fellow creative who was telling me how she cut all processed sugar out of her diet. She sweetens things with maple syrup, honey, and stevia. She told me about this three ingredient chocolate that absolutely blew my mind. So this chocolate has no processed sugar AND it's vegan AND gluten free. 3 simple ingredients. Crazy. Savannah and I just had to try this, but Savannah doesn't like chocolate (Have you stopped breathing? Crazy. I know.), so we also made this peanut butter version, which is actually my favorite.
Freezer Chocolate
Ingredients:
For Chocolate
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 2 Tbs. Maple Syrup

For Peanut Butter
- 1/4 Cup PB2
- 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 2 Tbs. Maple Syrup

Directions:
1. Heat coconut oil in microwave for 30 seconds.
2. Whisk in powder and syrup.
3. Pour mixture into mold (or ice cube tray or just on a plate) and freeze.
4. Chocolate will be ready in about 20 minutes. Store in freezer and serve cold.
The peanut butter one is to die for. Really. You should definitely try to make some. We even layered a few of the chocolates with a little bit of both mixtures. We also tried some with protein powder... don't do it. It ain't right. The options for this chocolate are endless though. You could mix in nuts, dried berries, coconut or granola. You could drizzle the sauce onto ice cream or straight into your mouth. We don't judge. We've just given you the knowledge, now it's up to you what you do with it.

recipe: perfect crispy potatoes

Okay, here's the deal. If you want amazing potatoes, you've got to do a little more than just throwing them in the oven. Don't get me wrong, while in a time crunch, the latter will do just fine and taste great. But if you want perfect crispy buttery amazing goodness, you've just got to take it a little further. Now this recipe has very few ingredients because we want the potatoes to taste like potatoes. After you master this recipe, it's fun add different herbs and seasoning. But this is the basic recipe and these potatoes will go with ANYTHING. ANY time of day.

Perfect Crispy Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 8 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- Salt

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Put your potatoes in a pot and cover with water. Add a little salt.
3. Bring pot to a boil then reduce heat to medium for about 15 minutes.
4. Drain potatoes.

8. Sprinkle salt on top and bake in the oven for 50 minutes. Turn the potatoes a couple times in between.
