Make This $180 Anthropologie Tree Skirt For Only $20

The other day I was scrolling through Anthropologie's website and happened upon this beautiful tree skirt. Then I saw the price of $180 and gasped. I knew instantly we had to make one ourselves and pass on how to do so to you guys. We managed to make this $180 tree skirt for $20, so basically I'm saving you $160 right now 😂😂😂

What's also great about this a DIY that is easy enough for people who aren't heavy DIYers. You don't need fancy tools or any skills. You only need a small amount of patience making the tassels.

We made 12 tassels for our tree skirt and you could do more or less. And they are the perfect thing to make while you are watching your 20th cheesy Christmas movie.

Lastly, this is so customizable. We used a sherpa fleece for the material and you could do felt which you can get in a wide variety of colors. Of course yarn comes in every color of the rainbow, so your options are limitless really. To make this DIY as easy as possible, I would make sure to choose a fabric that doesn't need to be hemmed because hemming a circle is one of the more terrible things you could do.

10 Christmas Decorations For a Boho Fireplace

Today on Vlogmas Day 5 we are sharing with you how we turn our fireplace into a boho wonderland Christmas scene. We decorated our fireplace the same way we did last year and didn't make any changes because we loved it so much. I'm surprised we were able to keep it such a neutral palette because we are typically such color-loving ladies. But for once in my life, I don't miss the color.

It's more winter-y than Christmasy and if we took down the stockings, we might get away with leaving all the lights up all winter long. We have a variety of 4 different string lights which I think is what makes it seem so magical. If you haven't caught on to this yet, we love love love copper string lights. We use them all the time and have several strands. They are all over our house and we love to use them when we are styling photos.

7 Cute Christmas Letter Board Sayings

Christmastime is here, ya'll. We are feeling it in Hey Wandererland. This is the best time for the warm fuzzies of Christmas, ya know? The stress of Christmas hasn't hit. You probably have just gotten your house all decorated and it's looking so cute. You're not feeling overwhelmed by all the presents you need to buy and you haven't been bombarded by Christmas from every retailer in America. This time is when Christmas feels hopeful, cheery, and delightful. I certainly hope it always stays that way for you :)

Without further ado, I bring you some Christmas sayings for your letter board. Unfortunately, my brain did not allow me to come up with too many original sayings like I did for the fall letter board post. Nonetheless, these are our favorites! So "fa la freakin la" is a Casey original saying. You can ask Savannah, my personal specialty is remixing songs. Christmas carols are one of my favorite things to remix, and that's where this top saying came from.

We purchased our letter board at TJ Maxx and I haven't been able to find another one exactly like it. I'm linking one here that is double sided- black on one side and white on the other. Here are red letters. And here is a pack of multi-colors that contains green so you can use red + green letters if ya want. One thing you need to pay attention to when you buy a letter board is the size letters you need. Our board needs 3/4 inch size letters.

What is more classic than Home Alone? Well, I guess there are a lot more movies that were around before Home Alone, but it's definitely one of our favorites. We couldn't let this quote miss this Christmas letter board post.
Christmas countdowns are fun! I've done advent calendars before and marked off a regular calendar counting down the days until Christmas. It just builds up the excitement and I think kids would love it!
I've seen this one a lot but it makes me laugh. If you'll notice the 'N' in tangle is red instead of green. Well, that got Savannah's tinsel in a tangle. 😆😆😆
Nothing original here but it's just a cheery phrase that makes me feel jolly!

So, I haven't seen this on a Christmas letter board yet, and i really don't know why. It's the greatest Christmas lyric from the greatest boy band of all time. I know you know I'm talking about NSYNC and their Christmas song, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. This song is a good time and puts me in a good mood.

Well guys, that's it for today. If you have any other great Christmas sayings let us know in the comments. Also, we are doing Vlogmas over on our YouTube channel, so go check that out. We are going to have a video posted every day from December 1-24. There will be lots of DIYs- home decor + gifts, etc.

Mini Cactus Christmas Tree DIY

Have you stopped breathing because of the adorableness of the above scene?! Call the ambulance. This is one of my favorite DIYs we've ever done. We did this giant cactus Christmas tree last year and I freaking love it! But it's huge and not everyone has room for something that large. Also, it was a little more involved and Savannah figured out a way to make these smaller ones and it's super easy + inexpensive to make!
